The Top Dividend Paying ETFs and Stocks [view article]
for Frank Li, Dividend stocks are a great way to make aliving especially for those of us who are retired. I have been
investing in dividend stocks for 52 years and have no regrets.
I retired at 44 (23 years ago) and make a 6 figure income, which
is really what you want and need when you retire. Reply

I am pleased to see Spectra Energy and Enbridge on this list. I own both. They are steady growers, sporting decent dividends. ReplySix High Yielding Electric Utilities [view article]
Dumped my MOT, after a big loss, and put it into PNW because it has a good 6%+ dividend. Also the AZ CorpCommission that sets electric rates has been reasonable with PNW/APS rate increase requests. PNW should grow results in the last quarter 0f 08 and more in 09. ReplySeven Cogeneration Stocks to Fuel Your Portfolio [view article]

NGG bought natural gas infrastructure in area served by ED. Logically, NGG should buy ED for the same reasons. If not NGG, a different foreign buyer (or domestic) sitting with US dollars that are rapidly becoming worthless.Bottom line: ED is also a take-over candidate. Reply

What I don't understand is that if you guys don't like Cramer, why do you even watch him???????????? I actually saw a replay of the "Cramer meltdown;" my comment is why was he so shy in voicing his opinions? ReplyBuy Natural Gas - Cramer's Lightning Round (8/1/08 [view article]
Apparently, CNBC likes to market Jimbo's meltdown.Bloomberg is much better resource for investrors. CNBC is entertainment. I like Erin Burnett; she works hard and is sincere.
Najarian and Macke spew out some good stuff once in awhile but I would not buy/sell on anything they say. Don't know why they have Karen Finerman on there; she does not want to give out information.
She kited MSFT and YHOO way past the time when it was clear they were dogs with fleas.
